Who this is for

This guidance is designed for an employee moving to Frankfurt for an office-based role, especially when the employer handles the contract but leaves the everyday relocation to you. It works well for an individual or couple arriving from outside Germany who can communicate in English and needs priorities rather than a pile of links.

It is not immigration representation, tax advice, legal advice or a property-finding mandate. We explain the ordinary path, prepare questions and point out when a regulated professional or public authority must answer.

What you receive

The first 75-minute video session takes place before arrival. We map your employment start, nationality and current documents; compare temporary and longer-term housing; check whether an address can support Anmeldung; and match plausible districts to your office commute. Afterwards, you receive a written action map arranged by before travel, first 72 hours, first two weeks and first month.

The second session, normally held after you secure an address or arrive, checks progress and resolves practical forks: Bürgeramt appointment preparation, statutory versus private health-insurance questions to raise, opening a bank account, choosing a mobile plan, household broadcasting contribution and reading common clauses in a German rental handover record.

Included:

  • two private video consultations for up to two adults moving together;
  • a tailored Frankfurt arrival map;
  • a neighbourhood and commute shortlist of up to four areas;
  • an appointment-and-document checklist;
  • one email follow-up within 14 days of the second session.

Not included are apartment viewings, translation, certified document checks, authority bookings made on your behalf, visa filing or negotiation with landlords.

How the engagement runs

  1. Fit check. Send your intended move date, office district or station, household size and main uncertainty.
  2. Preparation. We ask for non-sensitive facts only. Do not email passport scans, bank statements or health records.
  3. Pre-arrival session. We set priorities and identify dependencies, such as needing a landlord confirmation before registration.
  4. Written map. Your notes arrive within two business days.
  5. Arrival session. We adapt the plan to the address, commute and appointments you actually secured.

Preparation and constraints

Have your employment start date, office address, approximate monthly housing budget and temporary-accommodation dates ready. Availability at the Bürgeramt and the rental market can change quickly; we cannot promise an appointment, tenancy, residence decision or insurance acceptance.

The fee is €390, invoiced after the fit check. See the fee and cancellation guidance before confirming. To begin, send a relocation enquiry and expect a reply within two business days.
